Demineralization cartridges help prevent calcium and lime build-up in your ultrasonic humidifier. Just add one to the tank and change every 30 to 40 fillings.
• Reduces mineral build-up and “white-dust” caused by hard water when used in ultrasonic humidifiers
• Works with all ultrasonic humidifiers (1 gallon and larger)
• Simply drop one cartridge into water tank
• Replace cartridge every 30-40 fillings, depending on water hardness

Worthwhile
Well worth the price. It must be changed monthly to keep the white dust from covering the house. I learned this the hard way - did not change for several months and had white dust everywhere.

No white dust with this
As soon as cold weather sets in, we start our humidifiers. I change the cartridges on the first of every month and this keeps the white dust that can form, from happening.

THESE WORK!
These eliminate the need for such frequent dusting, and I can run my humidifier on a higher setting. I do wish they were included in my purchase of the Sharper Image Humidifier but am glad that they are available for purchase. I buy a couple packages for the season as I have 3 going in different areas of my home. Zonal comfort for my breathing and hair and skin!!!
