Sharper Image Steak knives--excellent value for the money
These knives are quality from the tip of the blade to the back of the handle. I am impressed that the blade extends as a single piece of steel through the entirely of the handle and the brass bolsters are heavy duty and solid. The knives are nicely balanced and have a solid but not heavy weight to them. Shortly after they arrived my wife and I were able to use a pair for a t-bone steak dinner we prepared on our grill. The knives cut cleanly and easily through the meat and were most comfortable to use. My only real criticism is not so much for the knife but for Sharper Image. These knives are offered as a pair of two. Most people we know prefer to have 4-8 steak knives and we often have other friends over for dinner so we wanted four knives. Sharper Image should consider selling these knives as a set of four for a price a little under the cost of buying two sets of two. These are great knives, I believe anyone buying them will find satisfaction with them for many years.
