Sounds as good as it looks.
I purchased the black leatherette case that adds to my modern décor. It is just for what I was looking--a basic radio that is simple to operate. The sound is fantastic; and I like the option of being able to plug it into an electrical outlet instead of having to replace batteries since I utilize it constantly. I have no negative comments so far.
