Star Trek Phaser Remote and Sharper-Image.

The Wand Phaser stands alone in its build quality and authenticity to the original Star Trek prop dimensions, comparable to Master Replicas with 1 or 2 minor reservations at 1/10 the price. Add to that the large number of authentic replications of the sounds from the show and it is well worth twice the money for its replica value alone.. Now add to this functionality to control a TV, VCR and other equipment and you are off the scale! Unbelievable acquisition for a Star Trek fan!!! As to Sharper Image itself, I couldn't ask to deal with a better company. Always offering special discounts and incentives to entice the buyer, and add to that the already great prices and lightning fast shipping and you absolutely could not ask for a better buying experience! I have placed several orders for my collection and will continue to do so until they get tired of my business! Thanks Sharper-Image!!!!! 5 stars out of 5!

A must for Star Trek fans

I previously owned the master replicas TOS phaser. Really cool, but stopped working after a year or so. It became a $1000 paper weight. This new phaser' remote control has all the sme sound fx plus thr universal remote capability. I have no plans to use this as a remote. It's strictly an fx machine for me. Looks and sounds amazing! For the price it's a must

The perfect gift for Star Trek's 50th birthday

I'm a fan of cult tv and science fiction, so this item jumped out at me. I own two other universal remotes from the Wand Company built as Doctor Who sonic screwdrivers. The product is always sturdy, expertly built and fun, but they took it to a new level with the Star Trek phaser. From the Star Fleet equipment case to the custom made screwdriver, I knew this was a labor of love. The phaser is painstakingly accurate and yhe lights and sounds are lots of fun. Also, this is best price around. With the soon to be released blue tooth communicator, the universal remote phaser is the ideal gift for a Trek fan.
