Great Humidifier
This is a really great humidifier, I fee safe that its clean every time I use it. No longer are the days of soaking it in warm vinegar water, it cleans itself!

Very Efficient Humidifier
It works fast, humidifies the entire bedroom (30'x48'), I like the little box in the back for adding an essential oil or vaporizing liquid. I like the blue light so I don't run into things when I get up in the dark. I only wished that you had more control of where you can aim the jets where the steam comes out; instead it shuts straight up. Good product!

Worthless
First off, this is not self-cleaning, and it builds up the pink biofilm worse than any humidifier I've used in the past. The first one quit working out of nowhere. I received a replacement. After 6 no the second one shorted out my electrical socket and quit working. I emailed sharper image several times, and finally, after hounding them I spoke with a woman named Bianca, who said there was nothing she could do but issue a gift card because it was no longer under warranty. Wait a minute, the replacement was less than a year old, which should be covered under the warranty. After going around and around with Bianca, I asked to speak with someone higher up than she is. She said that was not possible, and emailed me the gift card. This is the worse customer service agent I have ever dealt with. She didn't listen to my concerns, she didn't care that I had to have an electrician come out to repair the damaged socket, she wouldn't even put me in touch with someone higher up. This is not the Shaper Image from the 90's, and I will never use them again, Bottom line, if you want a humidifier that works, buy from a company that is willing to back their products.
