Delightful, attractive beautiful little lights. Can shine upward or downward. Easy to install but be careful about removing as the adhesive is exceptionally strong and can peel off paint.

Purchased My Second Set of Lights
These lights are surprisingly bright. I liked them so much I purchased a second set. The only drawback is that the catalog description states "...install in seconds with included screws or adhesive tape." Not true. Bothe sets I purchased DO NOT include screws. The paperwork in the box states that screws are not included. Tape IS attached to each light. I'm still trying to find appropriately small screws. The Sharper Image should correct the catalog description and/or send me the screws.

Really Bright
Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of these lights. I like that they only come on when it's really dark. You don't waste battery power by them coming on when no lighting is really needed. The auto shutoff is also a great feature. I do wish the lights included mounting screws. It's really difficult to find screws small enough to work properly. I'm not sure how long the adhesive on the back of the lights will last. Also, when I next paint the walls, I hope I can find a good substitute for the included adhesive.

I would NOT buy this product again!
The motion sensor is VERY UNRELIABLE! Sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. Also, if you are purchasing these lights for a dark staircase in order to better see the steps, keep in mind that the light only comes on (sometimes!) after your foot has already passed in front of the light and onto the step alongside the light. So while these lights appear to solve the problem of a dark staircase, they do not. Lastly, the adhesive will definitely remove paint from sheetrock...no question about it.
