Loads of Fun for the Whole Family
Bought two of these helicopters for my children, 6 & 8 yrs. old. They both loved them but I wanted to show them how to use the controls, so I played with them flying the helicopters one at a time in the living room. After playing with this toy, I thought that it might be a little hard for them to fly them inside the house as it was more difficult for me to keep the toy hovering in any one particular position while it often got into trouble with room furnishings such as the TV set, etc. However, my kids didn't seem to mind that I was at the controls as they had fun dodging the helicopter as it approached their positions and they laughed and ran for cover. They also pushed the bottom of the craft upward with their finger watching it move up in the hover position with amazement. Yes the play was endless as long as the battery was charged often, but with two to play with, there was always an operating unit while the other was being charged. I took the kids outside to let them have a hand at the control but quickly noticed that the helicopter would not respond to the control if sunlight was present. That was disappointing, but not unexpected as the instructions did warn of such an interference problem.

The only draback is the helicopters are on the same frequency so having a friend with one means you cant fly together.
