I would buy this product again
We bought 8 of these candles. They do take batteries but they worked flawlessly this holiday, just as advertised. We were cautious b/c we have never been able to find window candles that worked well or lasted. Amazing story: I accidently tipped one of these candles off the window sill. It tumbled 3 floors onto the neighbor's patio below. We went and retrieved the pieces, put it back together and it worked! It has a piece of the base missing but it still works. I recommend these candles.

Love my new candlesticks
These are awesome. I love the auto on and off and the flickering of the light. Just beautiful on my mantle. I guess they look pretty real because my ex tried to touch it to see if it was.

These are excellent for windows, especially those with narrow sills. I used mine to sit on the upper windowsill, which is framed by a wreath on the front of the window. They are heavy and of good quality; I just wish the bases were metal, but these will work fine.
