Almost perfect
Wish I would have gotten the ear tips,I have to manually hold it in my ear while watching TV,leaving for vacation the 20th,which will make it a nuisance rather than a pleasure.

A Huge Help!
I bought this for my mother in law, who is very hard of hearing. One of her hearing aids was being repaired and it helped her to hear her dining partners in the rehab facility where she had to stay for a time. She even likes it better than her own hearing aids. You can't beat it for the price!

Works great!
Bought for my very hard of hearing mother in law. She says it works better than her expensive hearing aid! She can turn down the TV and hear much better, including conversations with elderly people who can't talk loudly.

This is a good thing!

helps to hear better
This devise does amplify the sound,especially when watching TV. The sound is like you are in a tunnel and when you turn up the volume you have to be careful of the screeching feedback. But for the price this devise does work. It's not a hearing aid though.

Doesn't work as advertised
I really wanted this item to work because my husband needs it (and won't go get a hearing aid!). But, if your hearing isn't as good as it should be, and you turn the unit up high to get the volume you need, the units "feeds back" on itself and emits a high-pitched whine, thereby further damaging your hearing! It's a Catch-22!
