Low profile - chargeable
This lamp is sitting next to a chair in an open space in the room too far from an electrical outlet so rechargeable lamp is perfect. It's for reading. It's also very low profile so won't be obtrusive in the space. Appears to be good quality.

I waited too long
The focused beam floor lamp is the bomb! An adjustable beam of light to read buy is exactly want I needed to read by in my living room. I should have bought 15 years ago!!! When I first saw in the Sharper Image catalog.Two thumbs way up for a beautifully designed state of the art floor lamp. Very impressive!
