Curl Secret

My hair doesn't hold curls, never has. I always end up using a ton of hairspray and it gives me a look that I don't like. The night after I received this, I played with it, then went out. I still had curls the next day. I LOVE this! The only thing that I don't like is how long it takes to make sure that each curl is set but it is worth it. The curls last without hairspray and, although it is kind of heavy, really easy to use. This product sold me on Sharper Image. I'm hooked.

I have been searching for a good device to curl my hair for nearly 15 YEARS! Hot rollers, sponge rollers, regular curling irons, curling wands.... they'd all make my hair kinda frizzy and took upwards of 3 hours to curl/roll it because my hair is long and very thick (requiring me to take small sections of hair at a time). This curling device is VERY easy to use and heats up extremely quickly. You simply take a section of your hair and put it up to the chamber and close down, allowing the chamber to suck in the remainder of the section of hair. (If it starts to possibly tangle, just let up on the handles and it immediately stops to let you take out your hair and try again. This happened maybe three times but never hurt my head/hair - you just have to keep an eye on the chamber where you're putting your hair to make sure it is in the right spot.) The device will do rapid beeps and stop, then you know it is time to ease up on the handles and let the curl come out. I was able to curl ALL of my hair in just 45 minutes - obviously way shorter than 3 hours. My guess is that the average person will be able to curl their hair even faster (less than 30 minutes). I took a picture of my hair 5 hours later and it still looked great (I only used a heat-set spray before curling, no hair spray after curling). Everyone loved my hair. I would recommend this to ANYONE! It would also be easier and safer to curl little girls' hair with it, as there is not a hot wand to grab onto - that's a plus. I personally did not find anything about it that I do not like. BEST hair curling product I have EVER bought - I don't need to buy anything else! Fully worth the $100 I paid for it.

The curls are great. The only complaints I really have is that you have to use small strands in order to make it NOT tangle. I was hoping the easy curling would cut down some time instead of using a regular curling iron but it doesn't because your machine needs smaller strands or it does not work. I like it and will use it but I wish I could have tried it out before. I would not have spent $100 on the item since I minus well use a regular curling iron for faster results
