Gorgeous sound!
I bought this set so I could upgrade my computer listening pleasure...and what an upgrade! Gorgeous quality sound: bass and treble tones are well balanced without distortion when the volume is up. Only one downside for me is all the cords...I'd love it if I could move the speakers anywhere around my desk area without dragging the cords. But overall this set has made all of my music sound better now...very pleased!

Impressive Sound Quality!
I recently purchased a new computer, and I knew I needed speakers that would match the impressive performance of my new computer. Unfortunately, the speakers built into the computer were mediocre at best. Introduce the Bose Companion 20, and my sound issues were resolved. The speakers produce impressive mids and highs, with commendable lows. My desk space is very limited, so I actually placed the speakers behind my large LCD monitor. I don't see them, but I can hear them and I'm very pleased. The speakers rely on an auxiliary audio connection as opposed to USB. While this is technically an analog method, connecting over USB is bandwidth intensive to any computer. I tend to be tech savvy, so some form of digital connection was desired, but ultimately the sound performance is exceptional over aux. My only recommendation, is that Bose provides a longer aux cable so you have the ability to position the speakers more liberally away from your computer.
