Never Over-inflate!
I use it on my pickup truck when hauling heavy and the tires are inflated to near maximum 80 PSI. It is assuring to know the tires are fully inflated yet aren't over-inflated or going flat! The tire pressure monitor also reports air temperature which loosely translates to brake performance. The monitors are easy to install, so I just put them on when I want to monitor pressure and then remove them later. Because I don't leave them on permanently, and the truck tires are big, there is no need to worry about adding the 1-gram ballance weights. One of the O-rings will not stay seated in the groove and it squirts-out when tightening the battery compartment, so I do not trust the monitors to stay water-tight. I had one monitor that wasn't reporting, so I removed the cover and removed/installed the battery and the monitor started working. Pressure accuracy seems adequate. A very handy gadget.

Very precise readings
I am a stickler about tire pressure. I log about 1,000 miles a month for work. In addition, we have rapid temperature drops that affect tire pressure. It's not unusual to have perfect pressure one day, then 10psi below the next morning. These tiny sensors give me an accurate reading in real time. They even measure the tire temperature. As far as I can tell they are more accurate than the car's internal tire gauge that appears on the dash. And, no bending to check the pressure. Just launch the app. Very clever and very easy to use. This item is most likely geared toward the serious car person, but simple enough for everyone to use.
