A new twist on laser tag
As a test for Sharper Image, I gave this to my son and his classmate (age 8). First off, they really liked the bright lights and the sound effects. Then, I explained how it works.. Very easy -- you put on the chestplate and attach the blaster to your hand. They sync up very easily. Then, try to zap your opponent with a harmless beam of infrared light. The chest plate has a counter on it: you start at 8 and go down to 0. The one who gets down to zero is out of the game. Then, it starts up again. It's really fun in a low-light environment.
