Replaces 4,000 disposable batteries

These rechargeable batteries can be recharged 1,000 times each, which means using this set could keep as many as 4,000 AA batteries out of landfills. I tested these for SharperImage.com and they work just like any other AA batteries in remotes, flashlights, walkie talkies and RC toys. You might not have 4 empty USB hubs around but that's ok, you can charge them 1 or 2 at a time. They charge fairly quickly and it saves you the hassle of buying batteries over and over. Highly recommended!
