Bought this item twice

This is one product that you can't go wrong
It's really nice because I always carry my phone and I get updates on the temp as it gets to my preset temp. I am really happy with it and so is my wife and 23 yr old son and he is a cook too.

Does not connect with its blue tooth app
Such a waste of money. It would never connect with the blue tooth app that activates and controls it.

Not impressed
I keep get a message on my iPhone that the thermometer was out of range. The phone was on the counter next to the stove and meat thermometer was in the turkey tenderloin in the oven. So far not impressed.

Frustrating instructions, plastic broke first use!
Grilling a pork loin roast. Took a while to get it to work. Seemed to he doing well. Took meat off grill, let it rest, but when pulling thermometer from meat with hand, it cracked and a big piece fell off. Now useless.

Only for roasts
I received this as a gift, and although the video shows them putting it in a chicken, there is really no way to use it for that since you are supposed to insert the whole probe (which is very thick) up to the black top. On any poultry you would hit bone which would give an inaccurate reading. You certainly couldn't use if for chops, chicken pieces or meatballs. If you cook a lot of roasts (which I don't), then this would work for you.

this product didn't work.
I download the app onto my phone. Then the device doesn't recognize the app and tell me that I must download the app. I have tried it 5 times. It is difficult to understand the developer of the thermometer because he has such a strong accent.
