Great value

After searching everywhere for a waterproof camera for my grandson that didn't have complaints of leakage I cam across this one at sharper image. Had the best price anywhere and the manufacturer had a $30 off coupon. Was able to get this deep water dive camera for less than a standard waterproof camera.

Mini II Camera

This camera is great for snorkeling and diving, I also liked using it fishing with out having to worry about protecting the camera from water or being bumped around in my small boat. It works best with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA batteries.

Sea Life Mini II Camera

I finally got to use the camera this past week for snorkeling in St. Thomas. I also have an underwater film camera that is good down to 16.5 feet. I purchased this with many years of snorkeling picture taking behind me, and know that water quality is the main factor. I didn't expect to have better results than with the film camera since fish aren't cooperative subjects. I did however expect that having instant results and easier editing would make it worthwhile. These expectations came true. The big drawback is that with the glare from the sun the screen is useless when snorkeling. It became guesswork as to what settings I was on and what was visible. With the film camera I can hear the shutter. I couldn't with the Sea Life.
