Get more use of Alkaline batteries for battery draining devices cause NiMH batteries recharge but have limited time before needing to be recharged.

Great!
Though it has about 2weeks charge, I love it because I don't have to always run out to buy batteries for my alarm. The Battery Charger allows me to charge multiple sized batteries, in addition to always having batteries charged so when kid says come over with their electronics, big plus for me.

About a "seven" on a ten scale
The idea is a good one, but this product is only so-so. One big reason is that what the instructions SAY you'll see (when you try to recharge a battery) isn't always what you WILL see. For example, while attempting to recharge AA alkaline batteries, one of the three just kept on charging... and charging... AND charging.... even though the instructions SAY the unit alerts a user that a battery is bad and cannot hold a recharge. It DID recharge the other three, but the recharge evidently wasn't very thorough. The life of all three "recharged" batteries only lasted about three days.
