Highlights

Pocket Night Vision is the portable monocular device that reveals up to 82 feet of crisp black-and-white images in total darkness. Unlike old-fashioned night scopes that use intensifier tubes, Pocket Night Vision uses advanced digital technology, so it won't burn out over time. It’s light and compact — ideal for hiking, camping or any nighttime adventure, and it even works if there’s ambient light. Includes a carrying pouch and wristband.

Surprisingly terrific!

I'd been considering the purchase of any type of night vision device for awhile, but those things are expensive! Saw this one while Christmas shopping for someone else and decided to get myself a present. This monocular is about as good as it gets for the money. I'll be using is to see critters in the dark. Sometimes, I hear things below our elevated deck or in the nearby woods and I'm excited to see what's actually going on there. A nice investment for a casual user. It comes with a One-year warranty, so I'll be saving my paperwork, just in case.

Better Than Expected!

My husband bought this for me as a late Christmas present because I'm a professional wildlife Artist. I was so excited because I'd been wanting one forever - I really wanted to be able to watch the abundance of wildlife in our area. I'd looked for almost a year, though, and the good quality ones were at the very least several hundred dollars, which is out of our budget. But as soon as I had this one in my hands I knew I'd scored. Its tiny size (it can fit in a jeans pocket) is misleading. The area of vision is very large, covering almost the entire breadth of natural vision and the clarity is amazing. The screen is white, so it's almost like looking at a daylight screen. I was especially surprised at the distance I could see clearly. We live in one of the least populated corridors in the U.S. and we're surrounded by flora and fauna. I'm able to see the entire distance from my house to our fence line, which is well over 100 feet. It's a great quality product and is great fun! Unfortunately I had to return it though because it made me feel nauseous to look through the screen any amount of time. The screen is actually totally still (unlike using binoculars, the image doesn't shake), but for some reason it affected me the way watching a movie with a shaky camera does. I think it had something to do with the brightness of the light (even on the dimmest setting) against an almost pitch blackness (like I said, we have zero street lights, porch lights or other ambient light out here). If that wasn't the case I would have loved to have kept it - it definitely competes with the high priced models I've checked out over the last year. Unfortunately I think the issue is one I'd face with any night vision product, as I get motion sickness easily, and didn't have anything to do with this particular product. Like I said, there's no motion on the screen.

Outstanding product

GREAT 'picture' quality. Very impressed with clarity. Real glad I didn't buy the usual 'green' night vision item.

Small device has big value

The monocular is small and convenient to carry. it readily adapts to various degrees of darkness with the infrared feature. The black and white image is more natural than a green one.

I can see clearly now

When my neighbors dog disappeared into the the dark of a hunting field and would not return when called. I easily spotted the dog's head when he poked his head out from the corner of an outbuilding. The IR lit him up as if it was day light from 30 feet away. A great easy to use unit which easily stores in ones pocket ready to use. This is a great buy and is a very professional tool. Great for nighttime trail use too. I would buy it again!
