So far, so good
Given the mild fall weather, I've only had occasion to use this heater several times. And I have yet to see how its usage affects my electric bill. But it does just what I-- a single man, living alone-- wanted it to do: heats me and my immediately area very nicely while I watch TV or read, without having to raise the thermostat setting for my entire house, thus burning expensive fuel oil. Its remote control is a cinch to operate. I've refrained from giving it a five-star rating only because I don't yet know how much it costs to run.

FIRE HAZARD
I was paranoid regarding the fire starting potential of space heaters. I purchased the EV-HT20 because it is advertised as having an auto-shut off feature if tipped over. I tested this feature......the heater AND fan kept running after being placed horizontally. This product is good if your intent is to burn down your own house.
