This seems to help prevent thieves/rummaging
Appears to work as described. Since charged and installed, no visible evidence of anyone rummaging through my car anymore. Doesn't seem very loud but when you accidentally get in the car without turning the alarm off, you realize how disturbingly & ear piercingly loud this product is. The flashing blue light also acts as a visible deterrent. I do wish that it flashed RED instead of blue, but that is only a personal preference. Simple yet effective device! might consider a second one for the rear seats to cover someone opening the rear doors.

I Feel Much Safer
I really feel much safer knowing this is protecting my car. I have a convertible and putting the top up and down is such a pain. This little device makes me feel much safer leaving the top down when I park. Really a must have for any vehicle owner.

I don't believe it was a bad product per se, but it just did not serve it's purpose on what I was looking for so it was a bit disappointing. Instructions were easy to understand on how to set up device in vehicle, but I feel the alarm already on my car is just as sufficient as this device. This device was not very loud, it was more of a "screeching" sound, which I don't feel would really deter anyone, as well as if someone were to actually be successful to break into your car all they would have to do is take the device straight out of the AC adapter. In my opinion, the video that was on the website does not portray the product, specifically sound wise (loudness), as it truly is. Bottom line, I would say don't waste your time purchasing this item.
