Amazing but not for me
I have tried many different kind of shoes but no matter what I try, they still slip on back heels. The skates though are great but I prefer the old fashioned ones for myself.

It's between... Quad skates and inline
I'm almost 40 and I haven't skate in over 12 years. I was able to pick it up within 30 minutes and I can "survive". It made such a good impression, my entire family has a pair. It's a good way to burn off some fat. I would not go out in town, hills etc until you have it down... As far knowing how to stop, etc. But if you like riding inline skates, these will be child's play to you.

So fun!
Just got these as a birthday gift, and I am loving them! Skates work great, The adjustable features is great, because I can use them and so can my son. The Instant Skates are comfortable too, and really perform just like regular roller skates or roller blades.

Neat idea, good way to sprain/break your ankle. WEAR BOOTS!
This is a wonderful idea, but also a cautionary tale. I got these as a gift after an acquaintance's son fractured his ankle wearing them. Why? Because there is literally no ankle support and it turns out it's easy to turn your ankle the faster you go on a slippery, moving surface! If you want to use this device safely you should wear a pair of snugly laced boots with great ankle support - then put the skates on snug as well! In truth, I don't like wearing boots every day - and carrying the boots to work isn't much different than carrying skates - other than it's less bulky to carry skates than it is to carry these AND boots.
