I was disappointed when I unpacked the CD Player and speakers. I thought I would return it until I turned it on. The sound quality outperforms the Sharp model that I had for years, so I am satisfied.

Remote mostly ineffective
I like the unit. I was limited in my selection by a built in location for a CD/ radio that was not wider than 10 1/2" in my kitchen and this was one of two that I found. The functionality is good. It plays most CDs, just not one that I burned. It connects easily to bluetooth. It picks up many radio stations, but then again I live just outside a major metropolitan area. I don't care that it has an alarm so I cannot comment on that feature. My disappointment is with the remote which does not have volume control and only works within 20 feet of the unit and my desk is outside of that range.
