Good set for starters and intermediates
I play the ukulele and was impressed overall with the quality of this little guy. It has geared tuners that keep it in tune. The fretboard is straight and the intonation is more than acceptable for a "beginner" model. The real bonus is the book, CD and DVD which feature Lil Rev, a mainstay of the ukulele festival circuit. His lessons and demonstrations will go a long way for beginners and intermediates. I recommend this set as a gift or if you want to have a "spare" uke to keep at the office or in the car.
