Great Idea for a sanitary bathroom!
As a physician I am sanitizing my hands and equipment all the time. I brush in the shower and always wondered if the toothbrush was a good idea there (or on the sink top for that matter). We now are comfortable that we aren't sticking a germ ridden device into our mouths multiple times a day! I'm getting the portable version for work. My wife uses an electric toothbrush and this accommodates the tips quite nicely!

Best Christmas present this year..
Bought this as a Christmas present for my brother who is a very picky person. It was a total hit he loves it. He is very preticular about his tooth brushes so I thought this tooth brush sanitizer would be perfect for him.. It was the same size as a tooth brush holder and since you put the tooth brushes upside down the tooth brushes with the fat bottoms actually fit in it. Thinking of buying one for my self.

auto-off is broken
When I received my toothbrush sanitizer I was really excited because I already own the travel sanitizer which works great. However the auto-off UV light didn't work on this product and when I noticed about 1 hr later the device was very hot. I bought this specific product because I wanted something that ran on AC power in my home (vs. batteries) and this is the only Violight product that does that. Fortunately Sharper Image customer service was quick to respond to my issue and credited me back within 2 weeks so that I could purchase another item from their site. I bought this Violight product somewhere else and it did not have any issues.

Good Buy
Product has a nice look in my bathroom and I love the idea of not putting old germs in mouth. Would be nice if the drip tray came out without having to remove the top, but at least it can be cleaned easily enough. I am glad I purchased it and plan to buy my children a smaller one.
