The Orthopedic Mattress by Sharper Image Rest Science utilizes memory foam technology to create a multi-layer build in 3 different zones to help provide you with the best corrective sleep possible! The 3 zone build will help to position the body during sleep to the most relaxing position possible. This allows for optimal support in your lower back, while cradling you in the bed, so that you can wake up relaxed and ready for the day!

• Made of two foam layers: top layer (high density memory foam) & bottom layer (low density memory foam)

• 3 custom levels of comfort and support:

• Zone 1: This area is where your head and shoulders will be. This zone has a nice blend of support yet comfortable plush loft so that you are not over extending your neck yet still be supportive enough to make you feel comfortable. It allows your body to slightly shift into a position to start accentuating the positive effects of Zone 2.

• Zone 2: This area is where your mid to lower back will be. This area is constructed to have a support where you most need it along your spine. Zone 2 will give you support in all the areas along the spine which will help get you into a comfortable sleeping position, great for posture and correct spine alignment. Adding this support to this region helps to provide normal and natural curve of the low back, which is important for suggested optimal sleeping posture. Blending comfort and support into the construction of Zone 2 is why we consider this zone the critical zone.

• Zone 3: This area is where your body from the hip down to your feet will be. This area is constructed to gently allow your body to comfortably sink into the mattress. This is also a crucial part in helping the effects of Zone 2 on your body. This construction allows your lower body to lay comfortably on the mattress yet will again accentuate the support in your lower back that you need.
