Great device!!
The Garmin Approach G30 is a great device and I would highly recommend it. This is the first time I have owned a golf GPS so I was pleased when it took only minutes to read the instructions, set it up and start using it. It has other features such as storing rounds and analyzing data which I may try in the future. The screen is easy to read and the distances are accurate. It was especially helpful in determining fairway distances to sand traps and water hazards. On a recent round, I used my Garmin as well as the cart GPS and I consistently preferred my new Garmin. I never had to reset for the correct hole (which often happens with cart GPS) and I always had instant read. I love looking at a course at home and reviewing the holes in advance, especially if it's a course I have already played and I want to improve where I place my shots. It easily attaches to a waistband or belt and is small enough to not be an annoyance. Highly recommend!
