Easy
Not sure about battery life...lit says 3 hours. Doesn't seem like a long life. Would be great if it had a timer.

Many uses and applications
I tested these when they first came into Sharper Image. They are compact, but they are powerful and versatile. There are many LED modes: low, medium, bright, flashing, color-changing or solid color. These are good for camping (great for tents), summer home, boats, RVs and picnics. They are also handy during storm season. Instead of candles, just turn these on. You can even use them in jack o lanterns at Halloween. I had to get two sets for myself. Check out the video we made on SharperImage.com.
