Excellent air filtet!!!
This is seriously a terrific air filter machine! I've had it for TEN years!!! It runs non-stop in my kitchen in New York City. Every two or three months I take out the filter and screen and hose them off. An unbelievable amount of black soot comes off them. I'm SO glad it's going into this machine rather than in my lungs or on my kitchen counters! It's wonderful not having to worry about buying filters. I would have needed 30 filters by now - I'm so glad not to waste the time ordering them, and the space storing them, and the expense. Bravo!

Quiet efficiency
Purchased 2 of these units and they arrived very well packaged. One in my living room and the second in my bedroom. Although I can't measure air quality, I believe both units to be very effective. I have allergies, and respiratory conditions and I know I can smell the cleaner air produced through these units.

Replacing my old one
My older model that I purchased refurbished has lasted over 20 years and is now malfunctioning. I originally purchased it during a heavy pollen season and I was having major sinus issues…. It solved the discomfort. The cleanable filter is the deal breaker for me

This review is relatively new as I haven't had them for too long. Only had to wash the filter in a wash tub the let it dry for 12-16 hours before restating it…we have a wood/coal stove and it does help considerably with that. Only negative it is NOT as silent as the older ionic breeze towers I have.
