I would purchase this product again for someone new to chess

We purchased this chess board for our 6-year old grandson and he and his parents enjoy the many functions including the ability to play the computer and the help it provides in improving his skills by identifying potential moves he should make. He has been playing now for about a year and this was a Christmas present in 2018.

We bought this for our 11 year old daughter and she loves it. She is just learning to play chess, so she enjoys the different levels this offers.

Great For All Skill Levels

This is great for all skill levels. Beginner mode helps new players learn the proper moves, either as a solo player or against a friend. Experienced players can challenge the computer in solo mode too. The lights on the board tell players where the computer wants to move each piece, so playing the computer is easy to set up.
