A Beautiful Memorial Gift

This was a Memorial Gift for a family member. Franks Dad lived for 92 years but his loss is a great one. Frank is an avid gardener and we wanted to buy something special for his garden and when I saw this at Sharper Image I knew it was the perfect item.

I love this little guy!

This little glazing ball has a nice look during the day, but at night it's a real treat! So effortless once it gets solar charged right out of the box ( about 2 days here in sunny Southern CA). I have it on the rotating colors which is a bit magical, and very low key. My only concern, although I wouldn't want plastic, is that the ball is real glass. So put it somewhere sunny but low traffic i.e. no busy kids cats frogs gnomes etc. Will make a great gift for a gardening friend.

I am considering buying more!

Solar Gazing Ball

It has a beautiful light that can either be white or varied colors that change. The pedestal lifts it up high enough to easily see throughout my garden. I love it! Not sure how long the battery will last because I have used it for about two weeks. Does fine in the rain.
